The Rhinos

Type : mammals

Interspecific : Mutualism. The rhino lives with birds called Oxpecker. The birds feed from the insects that are in the skin of the rhino, and the rhino have the skin clean.

Intraspecific : competition. The rhinos are solitary animals that allways live in the same territory and compite with other rhinos for it.

Characteristics : they are wild animals, they are viviparous and herbivorous (they can even eat wood if they can´t find herbs)

They live in Africa and Asia. There are five kinds of rhinos in the world : the White Rhino, the Black Rhino, the Javan Rhino, the Indian Rhino and the Sumatran Rhino. The biggest one is the Indian Rhino, and the smalest one is the Sumatran Rhino




Fun facts :

The skin of the rhino is very gross (they have their own armour)

They have very bad vision but a very good smell and hearing

They have one or two horms, that are made of queratine, the same material of our hair and nails
