BOOM BALLOONS

                                  HEAT

We go with the experiment of the heat.
Resultado de imagen de globosI love ballons and then I decided to do my experiment with them.

                           MATERIALS:
2 balloons
water
1candle
Resultado de imagen de vaso de aguaResultado de imagen de vela de color

EXPERIMENT

First we inflate a balloon and put water on it
we light the candle and carefully pass it over as you can see it does not explode but gets a little black.
Now a balloon without water and when it
takes  heat it explodes quickly.
 ¿YOU UNDERSTAND  THIS  EXPERIMENT?
Is simple, if the balloon has water inside it, the heat is transferred to the water, which needs a long time to warm up, therefore the rubber never heats up enough to explode.

     HEAT ENERGY

Heat energy is a form of energy transferred by a difference in temperature. For showing how kit works I will show you the experiment I have done:

    MATERIALS
       · Paper
       · Scissors
       · Candles
       · Lighter

    STEPS

1.- First of all take the paper an cut it with the shape of a serpent.
2.- And then put a thread on the "head" of the serpent, meaning the sharp or ending point.
3.- Then take just one candle and light it, hold the serpent above it (not really near it) and look
how the serpent starts moving in a circular movement.
4.- Finally take two more candles and make the same thing, the circular movement of the serpent
     will be quicker

     WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

Unlike cold air, hot air is always ascending that is why the serpent makes a circular movement.

HEAT!!!!!

❤️                                                                                                                                                        ❤️

                                                                  HEAT

Hello today I´m going to explain how to do a very easy  experiment
so you can understand heat .
First.What is heat ?
Heat is the cuality of being hot or being in a high temperature 🔥🔥🔥

LET´S START

HERE YOU HAVE A VIDEO

As you see in the video the baloon expand....
You know why ?

I´m going to tell you ,
the cells in the air inside the baloon get hot and they expand (expansion )so the baloon expand too🎈

Thank you for watching 😍😍

Experiment of heat

MATERIALS

2 CONTAINERS

1 EGG

WATER

HOT WATER

COLD WATER

LET´S START TO THE VIDEO

iff you put an egg in the bowld of cold water and wait

a minute the egg gets cold and if you

put it righ away intthe hot water

container the heat level of the water foor example in the water is 50dregees,that what happens

FINAL CONCLUSION

The cold egg to be thown into the hot water what it does is lower the temperature of the water.

This is a very very very easy experiment

EXPERIMENT OF HEAT

How liquids react to the lose of preasure caused by heat.

- Materials
- Recipient
- Liquid
- Candle
- Glass of water
- Matches

-Experiment
1. We put some matches in the candle.
2. We put the candle with the matches inside the recipient with liquid.
3. We light up the candle and the matches.
4. Once we light up the candle we put the recipient above and we observe the reaction.

This happens becouse when we put the recipient above the candle temperature increases and preassure deacreases, forcing water to go up through the recipient in order to compensate the difference of preasure.

HEAT ENERGY PROJECT

Definition of Heat Energy
Heat energy it is caused by activity or velocity of molecules in a substance.

The level of the heat in a substance is the temperature.

Heat has always been confused with temperature. Temperature is a quantitative measure of hotness or coldness.

How is it done?

In this experiment I’m going to use the solar energy to burn a paper with a magnifying glass.

We take a magnifying glass and a piece of paper. We put the magnifying glass in the sun, and the piece of paper underneath, we have to move the magnifying glass until the point of the sun's rays on the paper is smaller. After a while the temperature of the paper will rise so much that the paper will start to burn.

Why is this happening?

This passes because when the sun rays pass through the magnifier, they concentrate in a single point and a high temperature is produced and that's why it burns.

Experiment of heat

Materials:
2 balloons
a candle
water
matches

It is an experiment in heat conduction . You put an empty balloon above candle flame . Hot air  comes up from the candle and the balloon pops . Hot air melts a small hole in the balloon .

You put some water in the balloon . Heat goes from the candle into the balloon , then it goes into the water . Water pulls the heat away from the rubber of the balloon . The rubber does not melt and the balloon does not pop .

Bending the light - physics experiment

Physics Experiment

For this experiment we need:

   - Empty bottle
   - Water
   - A laser pointer

This  experiment show the total internal reflection.
We get the total reflection if the light enters to an optical less dense material and the incidence angle is big enough.

The incidence angle at which the ray refracts exactly along the boundary line, is called the boundary angle of the total reflection. With the total reflection we can lead the light along the curved ways, as optic fibres or water jets.

The heat

Materials:

  • Ice

  • Container

  • Hot wáter

Steps:

Step 1: Free wáter in a container.

Step 2: Heat wáter until it bolis.

Step 3: Spill the boiling wáter on the ice.

Conclusión:

Note how solid wáter passes into liquid state.

                                   Heat Experiment

           Water Rising Experiment

Video

Materials:

  • Food colouring
  • Candle
  • Water
  • Bottle glass
  • Matches
  • Plate

Procedure:

  1. Add food colouring to the water
  2. Mix well until the color is equally colored
  3. Pour sufficient water in the plate
  4. Place the candle on the top of the coloured water
  5. Light it up
  6. Put the glass on top and observe

What is happening?

  1. Heat is produced by the burning candle.
  2. The heat speeds up the molecules meaning the molecules gain kinetic energy.
  3. When the cup is placed over the candle, the flame goes out because it doesn't  have oxygen.
  4. When the flame goes out the air inside loses heat which slowes down the movement of the molecules.

    5. As the molecular get slower they take less space and that
causes lower pressure at the top of the glass.

 6. The high pressure outside and low pressure inside are equalized.  When the water rises causing the same amount of air to take less space which means higher pressure (than before) on the inside.

Conclusion

The air inside the glass has lower pressure than the air outside the glass. This higher atmospheric pressure from the outside pushes the water from the plate up and into the glass.

ALEJANDRO LOPEZ GARCIA:

EXPERIMENT OF HEAT:

In this problem we are going to try to explain why water rises in a container while it is ignited, in the same way we will try to find the reason for the phenomenon through experimentation

Why the water rises in the glass that contains the matches?

Basically the water rises because when putting the glass on the plate that contains the water, the glass has oxygen and when igniting the match, the oxygen is consumed and a vacuum is created which makes a pressure for the water to rise.

To perform this experiment we will need .

MATERIALS:

- A glass
- Candle.
- Corks.
- A recipient with water.
- Milk

Experimentation.

1. Put the candle in the center of the plate and put the matches in the candle and add a little water.

2. Then we light the matches.

3. And in the same moment that we light the matches, we put the glass glass watching the candle are inside the plate.

4. Finally we put the glass around the matches.
5. While the matches are lit the water went up until they went out and stopped the rise of the water.

Explained the experiment:

-It was observed in the experimentation that while the matches were still lit the water in the dish was absorbing the glass, and the water was rising in it until the matches were extinguished,

In the same way it was observed that when the matches were extinguished a layer of smoke was created in which it was not stirred with the water, but kept away from the water.

The candle consumes the oxygen that the glass has and creates a vacuum which makes a pressure which is the reason why Water.

Heat

Materials:

-  Glass
-  Lighter
-  Plate with water
-  Candel

What is happening?:

- The candel turn off because the glass don´t have oxygen and they need oxygen and that´s why turns off. The water go up into the glass

Experiment if LIGHT 😄😄

CAN YOU SEE THE RAINBOW??

Materials:
A torch
A CD

You put the torch in a table and the CD in your hand you tern on the torch and you can see a beautifull Rainbow:

What is happening????

That the torch give light and you can see the Rainbow

Why is happening??

Because the torch enfoca a the CD

THE GLOBE THAT IT DOES NOT EXPLOIT

MATERIALS:

  • 3 Balloons
  • Ligther

  • Dipstick

EXPERIMENT:

Fill the three ballons one with air, another with sand and another with water.

1.- BALLON WITH AIR

2.- BALLON WITH SAND

Ligth the candle, the contact with the air ballon and sand ballon explodes, with the water ballon the water absorbs the heat and does not explode since the water absorbs a lot of energy even with boil

3.- BALLON WITH WATER

LIGHT PROJECT

Materials:

- Three old CDs
- Thread
- Candle
- Six cloth drying clips

What is happening? The light travels in a straight line.

Why is happening? Because the circles of the CDs are aligned.

experiment of heat

in this project im going to show you how to make a balloon not explode with heat first,i explane what would happen without the experiment.
if you fan a balloon and put it on the top of a lit candle the balloon explodes because it overheats.

and now with the experiment the balloon didn’t explode
step 1:
you need these materials:
balloon
candle
 cup of water
step2:
you have to put some water in the balloon
step3:
you have to inflate the balloon
step4:
turn on the candle
step5:
put the balloon on the top of the candle and you will see that it does not explode
because the water inside the balloon equals that of the fire.
and if you leave the balloon on top of the candle it's like a suction cup and you can check it.
I have taken this experiment from this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zih8_BqolS0

Light Experiments

1. THE INVISIBLE COIN

MATERIALS

- A transparent glass
- A coin
- Water

HOW IT´S MADE

First, you put the glass on top of the coin. Then you add the water
and you won´t see the coin.

2. THE MOVING ARROW

MATERIALS

- A piece of paper with an arrow drawn on it
- Two transparent glasses
- Water

HOW IT´S MADE
You stick the piece of paper to the glass and put the other glass in front of it. Finally you add water to the glass and the arrow turns the other way.

Both effects are produced because light travels at different speeds in different materials so it "bends" creating magical effects.

See this video for a demonstration and more explanations.

Hope you like it! 😁

HEAT EXPEREMENT

Heat experement

MATERIALS:

  • DEEP PLATE
  • GLASS
  • WATER
  • LIGHTER
  • CANDLE

WHAT is happening? The water is rising in the glass wiht  the candle.

WHY is happenig? The candle consumes the oxygen of the glass until it goes out, and  the water enters the glass becuase the pressure has been lorwed.

Experiment of light

I am going to do an experiment with a laser pointer.

Materials:
- A spray.
- A laser point.

We can see the ray of laser light.
Why does this effect happen?
This effect is produced by spray droplets that reflect in the laser light along the entire ray of light.

First I will give an example of a machine using a laser.

Video

Now I am going to demostrate this effect.

Balloon experiment by Lucas Alonso

I am going to talking about heat experiment with a balloon.

First of all, list of materials you will need for the experiment.

Materials

Image result for globoImage result for vela

- 3 Balloons
- Water
- Sand
- Candle
- Lighter

Instructions:
  1. Inflate the first balloon with air. Put close to the candle and you see that the balloon exploits.
  2. With the second balloon put sand inside and inflate it.. Put the balloon close to the candle and you see the balloon exploits.
  3. With the third balloon inflate including water inside. Put the balloon close to the candle and you see the balloon doesn´t exploit.

Explication:

The contact of the fire and the balloon burn it and exploit, but if the balloon has water inside, the water absorber the heat and doesn´t exploit.

↞RANDOM ARROW →

⚫  Matirials:

 🍷Glass
  ▭Paper
  ✎Pencil
  🌊Water

 How can we do dis??

Firs draw an arrow in a small paper, then take the glass and put water on, then put the paper behind the glass with water.
You can see that the arrow is more big.

⚫ Why happend this??

This happend becouse the optical  phenomenomon. When the light passes from one medium to another, is called refraction.

HEAT ENERGY

This experiment is about heat energy :
I am trying to show the hot water behavior

           MATERIALS:

1.Water
2.Two colors of food coloring in my case blue and read:
3.Glass container
4.Measuring cup
5.Two crystal glasses

               STEPS:

- First step: Put in one of the glass 150 milliliters and in the other glass the same measurement.
- Second step: Color the water. We put the red color in one of the the glasses and the blue color in the other glass.
- Third Step: Put the glass with the red water in the microwave for 2 minutes And also put some ices in the glass with blue water.
- Forth Step: When all is ready , in a recipient with tempered water, I have to introduce little by little at the same time the content of colored water glasses.

         RESULT of the experiment:

- Hot water (red one) is up and the cold water (blue one) is below

           WHY?  CONCLUSION

This is cause because of the activity of its molecules.
- When the molecules are hot, they move a lot and they have less density
- When the molecules are cold, they have small pushes (they move a little), and their density is higher
- So that, hot water is up and cold water is below.

                           LIGHT

EXPERIMENT 1

I'm going to light the laser pointer and point to the wall after you hobble a sprayer and pour water in the path of the pointer and you will see the beam of the pointer that traveled in a straight line.

EXPERIMEN 2
I'm going to point to the wall and grab an ice cube and we'll see what happens to it bounces or reflects or bounces many times and the light appears in many places or turns red or goes through it.

in the video we have seen that the pointer has crossed the cube and at the same time

EXPERIMENT 3
in the video I point to the glass the laser goes through the glass that also bounces on the tablet, you can also see that the light travels in a straight line.

Light refraction

1- What is light?

Light is a kind of energy

2- what is the light refraction??

Refraction is the change in direction of a wave, caused by the change in the wave's speed.

Refraction is seen most often when a wave passes from one medium to a different medium.

when a light wave travels through air and then passes through water, the wave will slow and change direction.

3- Experiment:

          What you need:

               Water

               Jar or glass

               A laser.

4- Refraction

Refraction is the bending of light as it passes from one susbtance to another. Here, the light ray passes from air to water. The bending is caused by the differences in density between the two substances.

Heat

experiment of heat

ALBA LÓPEZ GARCÌA :

                                     Experiment of Heat

In this experiment , we will make a heat resistant balloon and explain step by step how this is possible.

What will we need?

a)  3 Balloons

1.- with air
2.- with sand
3.- with Water

b) One candle

c)  Fire

What you have to do ?

Light a candle

Inflate the 3 balloons to an appropriate size

Now hold on the flame - what is happening?

Then fill the balloon with a little water and close to the fire.
It is evident that we must be careful with the candle, and as the balloon can explode, it is recommended to make the experiment far from any electrical thing. Do not leave the balloon on the flame for more than 50 seconds as water could heat up a lot.

What happens
Video player
Download video

Explained the experiment:

The candle is a source of heat and adds thermal energy to any object it touches. In this case, when the fire is attached to the rubber, it can not withstand the temperature, which allows the balloon to explode.

1 and 2.- If you put a normal balloon in a candle - ( with air of sand ), the candle transmits a large amount of thermal energy to the rubber until it heats up to the point the balloon bursts.

3.- If the balloon has water inside it, the heat is transferred to the water, which needs a long time to warm up, therefore the rubber never heats up enough to explode.

If there is enough water in the balloon, the heat can be very efficiently transferred to the water. Water needs a large amount of energy to heat up, so it stays relatively cold for a long time, cooling the balloon.
