respiratory system :)

main functions:

the human respiratory system is a series of organs responsible  for taking in oxygen and expelling carbón dioxide .The primary organs of the respiratory system are lungs, which carry out this Exchange of gases as we breathe.

parts:

1.Nose and mouth:the air enter to the body trough the nose and the mouth

2.Vocal cords: the iar pasees our vocal cords, they vibrate and us to speaak

3.Trachea: this is long it is a rigid tube and connects to the nose and the mouth to our two bronchi. Air travels down the trachea into the bronchi

4.Lungs:these is two large bugs connected  to the bronchi  .The bronchi branch have millions smaller tubes,or bronchioles here in the lungs

5.Bronchi:is two smaller tubes connect the trachea to the lungs

6.Bronchioles:the air passes trough the nose o mouth to the air sacs of the lungs,in wich branches no longer contain cartilage .They are branches of the bronchi, and are part of the conducting zone of the respiratory system

Relationship:

The relationship of the respiratory system is circulatory system because the oxigen travell to the body.
With the digestive system beause the mouth is part of the respiratory system and the digestive system.

Fact:

1.:only about 21% of room air is oxygen

2.:your left  lung is often smaller than the right to allow room for the hearth

3:the lungs are the only organs that can float on the wáter

4:Is made up of several organs and strucures, including the lungs windgige, diaphragm and alveoli

Illnesses

1:
1:Asthma is defined as a common, chronic respiratory condition that causes difficulty breathing due to inflammation of the airways. Asthma symptoms include dry cough, wheezing, chest tightness and shortness of breath. Dr. Meyer says there is a major connection between environmental allergies and asthma. Allergic reactions, infections and pollution can all trigger an asthma attack.
COPD

2: lung cáncer this cancer is difficult to detect. Most often, the cancer develops in the main part of the lungs near the air sacs. DNA mutations in the lungs cause irregular cells to multiply and create an uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells, or a tumor. These tumors interfere with the regular functions of the lungs.

3.Pneumoniais a common lung disease caused by an infection in the air sacs in the lungs. The infections can be bacterial, viral or fungal. Most people can recover in one to three weeks, but for certain people, pneumonia can be extremely serious and even life-threatening.
“The very young and the very old are more at-risk for pneumonia and complications associated with pneumonia. Patients can be at increasingly susceptible to pneumonia, based on their smoking history or just their overall immune status. If they are frail or sickly, they can develop pneumonia more readily than young, healthy, well-nourished people
