CHARACTERISTICS

- They are carnivorous plants. These plants have a similar mechanism to a small bag (trap jug). If an insect enters it will be impossible to get out again. 

-The trap jug is open and filled with liquid, which consists of digestive juices and water.

They can only be found in Mount Victoria in Palawan, Philippines.

REPRODUCTION

They have sexual reproduction. The Nepenthes have male and female flowers and both are necessary for fertile seeds.

FUN  FACTS

When the rat leans into the plants to drink the sweet liquid , he slips and falls into the trap jug. Wall trap jug is like wax. Once the rat has fallen into the trap jug, gastric acid breaks down the still-living rodent.
