CHARACTERISTICS:

A Tuliup has tree ortwo leaves thicks has six stamens and a ovario . The tulips can be of all colors except the blue . They can be of  many sizes but are most common medium almost pulling large.

the word tulip comes from the Ottoman Turkish word which has in turn comes from the Persian term. both words mean turban and refer to the shape of the flower when closed
