ALEJANDRO LOPEZ GARCIA:

EXPERIMENT OF HEAT:

In this problem we are going to try to explain why water rises in a container while it is ignited, in the same way we will try to find the reason for the phenomenon through experimentation

Why the water rises in the glass that contains the matches?

Basically the water rises because when putting the glass on the plate that contains the water, the glass has oxygen and when igniting the match, the oxygen is consumed and a vacuum is created which makes a pressure for the water to rise.

To perform this experiment we will need .

MATERIALS:

- A glass
- Candle.
- Corks.
- A recipient with water.
- Milk

Experimentation.

1. Put the candle in the center of the plate and put the matches in the candle and add a little water.

2. Then we light the matches.

3. And in the same moment that we light the matches, we put the glass glass watching the candle are inside the plate.

4. Finally we put the glass around the matches.
5. While the matches are lit the water went up until they went out and stopped the rise of the water.

Explained the experiment:

-It was observed in the experimentation that while the matches were still lit the water in the dish was absorbing the glass, and the water was rising in it until the matches were extinguished,

In the same way it was observed that when the matches were extinguished a layer of smoke was created in which it was not stirred with the water, but kept away from the water.

The candle consumes the oxygen that the glass has and creates a vacuum which makes a pressure which is the reason why Water.
