The sunflower 

CHARACTERISTICS

 The sunflower  is a flowering plant  because  she grows an other plant with seeds there seeds are the pipes, the plant need:  the sun, the water, the minerals and the carbon dioxide . 

                             

PARTS  OF  THE  SUNFLOWER

1. The roots get water and minerals

 to the soil.

2. The stem support  the plant and

it transports the water and minerals

to another part of the plant.

3. The leaves get the sunlight and the

carbon dioxide  when you put carbon dioxide, sunlight, water and minerals

together they produce nutrients. 

POLLINATION  OF  THE  SUNFLOWER

Cross pollination: the pipes of the sunflower fell on the ground and when the flower have all of the characteristics to grow they grow creating new sunflowers.

FUN FACTS

The sunflower rotates his head following the sun.
