Sunflower
The sunflower is a heliotropic flower, it means its ability to orient itself to the sun.
Chracteristics:
It is a large plant.
It has a thick stem.
It has deep roots with one main and a lot of secondaries.
Its leaves are large, ovals with three main veins and rough.
Its floral head has hundred of tubular flowers. Every Little flower produces a seed.

Reproduction
It has not direct reprodutive function, they use a cross pollination method,
the flowers attract the insects and birds who made the pollination using them to spread reproductive pollen from one flower to another.

- The petals can be eaten in salads and tea.
- The seeds are also bird feed.
