REPTILES

There are a lot of species of reptiles in the World. 

They are vertebrated animals and they are very numerous in the desserts.

There are two caracteristics very important in the reptiles:

1.- They are covered by scales. Scales protect their bodies and they can be hard or soft and large or small. For example, crocodiles have scales very bigs. Look at the next picture:

2.-Body temperatures is the same when its cold and when its hot outside.

In this group of animals you can see:
- Snakes
- Turtles
- Crocodiles
- Lizards
- Gator...

The reptiles have four legs or no have legs.

They usually lay eggs and the babies then grow inside the egg. When the babies are ready they come out.
