The carnations

The Carnation is a flowering plant. 
It is one of the oldest plants cultivated in the world, since the Greek and Roman times. It's a perennial plant. It's hermaphrodite.   It needs a lot of sun. 
It can grow until 45 or 60 centimeters.
I like so much the colours, that they can be white, red, yellow and pink. It smells very good.
They are used in special events, as weddings. 
Carnation is a flower of the Mediterranean countries, as Spain.
